Yala Leopard Safari from Mirissa

Your day begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in the vibrant beach town of Mirissa. As you travel east in your private vehicle, you’ll leave the bustling coastline behind and venture into the rugged, wild landscapes of Sri Lanka’s deep south. The early start ensures we arrive at Yala National Park in time for the best morning wildlife activity.

Once we reach the park, you’ll switch to your private 4×4 safari jeep to begin the real adventure. For the next four hours, your expert safari driver will navigate the dirt tracks of Yala, a vast wilderness of scrubland, lagoons, and rocky hills. They will use their trained eyes to track the park’s incredible animals, with the ultimate goal of finding the elusive leopard.

Have your camera ready to capture unforgettable moments with wild elephants, roaming sloth bears, and sunbathing crocodiles. Yala is also a birdwatcher’s paradise. After an incredible safari, you’ll reconnect with your tour driver for a lunch break before the relaxing and comfortable journey back to your hotel in Mirissa.
