Description

Your Nuwara Eliya adventure begins with a hotel pick-up in the morning. The day starts with a scenic drive through the misty hills to the magnificent Ramboda Waterfall, one of the tallest and most beautiful cascades in the region. From there, we’ll continue to the famous Labukale Tea Estate, where you’ll step inside a working tea factory to learn about the process that makes Ceylon Tea world-famous. Of course, you’ll also enjoy a freshly brewed cup right where it’s made.

Next, we’ll explore the town itself, often called “Little England” for its colonial charm. You’ll see the red-brick Post Office, stroll by the serene Gregory Lake, and stop at a local strawberry farm where you can taste fresh fruit straight from the fields.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit the colorful Seetha Amman Temple, linked to the Ramayana epic, and then take a peaceful walk through the Hakgala Botanical Gardens, full of rare plants and vibrant flowers. Afterwards, we’ll stop at Lover’s Leap Waterfall before heading up to the Shanthipura View Point, the highest village in Sri Lanka, for sweeping views over tea fields and mountain landscapes.
