Description
Your adventure starts with a hotel pickup in Colombo in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy the drive through Sri Lanka’s lush countryside before reaching Kithulgala, a charming riverside town surrounded by rainforest.
At the rafting center, you’ll receive a full safety briefing and gear up with helmets and life jackets. Then, it’s time to hit the water. For about an hour, you’ll raft down the Kelani River, tackling a mix of exciting but beginner-friendly rapids (Grade 2–3). Between rapids, you can take in the natural beauty of the surrounding jungle and listen to the rushing water echoing through the valley.
After rafting, you’ll have time to change into dry clothes and relax before heading back to Colombo with memories of a day full of fun and adventure.
